National Crime Victim Rights Week 2023

April 23rd through the 29th is National Crime Victims’ Right Week. Each year, victim service provider agencies bring recognition to the victims and survivors of violent crime across the nation to uplift their voices and bring awareness to the challenges they face every day. This year’s theme is:

On April 17th, Mayor Joe Ayala signed a Proclamation for National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, reaffirming the City of La Junta’s dedication to uplifting the voices of victim’s and survivors, and expressing gratitude to the victim service providers and criminal justice professionals who work to serve them.
