Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world.
This year, Giving Tuesday falls on
November 29th, 2022.
Arkansas Valley Resource Center, being a community-based non-profit, relies on the support of our community to help continue providing services to victims and survivors of violent crime in Bent, Crowley, and Otero counties. Our agency is powered by federal, state, and local grants, as well as donations from individuals just like you. But there are so many great ways you can support AVRC’s mission!

Material goods donations are a big help for AVRC. These donations help us put much needed items, such as clothing, food, diapers, and household items, directly into the hands of victims and survivors within our communities. Material donations also count as in-kind, which helps out with our grant funding! If you want to know what AVRC is needing at present, take a look at our Wish List.
Monetary donations are also a vital support for our mission and services. Monetary donations can be be utilized generally within the agency, or go directly toward a specific event or project, such as AVRC’s Blair House or community education events. If you are wanting to provide a monetary donation, you can do so via our PayPal, or by mailing a check to Arkansas Valley Resource Center, PO BOX 716 La Junta, CO 81050 or drop it off at one of our office locations.
Volunteering is another key way to give back to AVRC. Whether it is full-time, part-time, or just for an event or project, every hour donated is greatly appreciated.
Please keep Arkansas Valley Resource Center in mind this giving season, and beyond, as we strive to strengthen families and end violence within our communities.
