Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month 2022

Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month 2022 kicks off February 1st, and to mark this month-long observance, the Arkansas Valley Resource Center has some events coming up to help draw awareness to something that impacts 1 in 3 teens in America.

On February 8th, AVRC invites everyone to join us for Wear Orange For Love Day!

On this day, wear your favorite orange clothes, shoes, costumes, and accessories and snap a self or group photo with friends, family or co-workers. Share your pictures using the hashtags #TDVAM2022, #AVRC, #LoveIsRespect, and #WearOrange4Love to help spread awareness and support those who have experienced dating violence.

Starting February 21st, AVRC will be holding a week-long Facebook Q&A event about Teen Dating Violence.

A key to combating this violence impacting young people is to spread awareness, answer questions, and debunk the myths surrounding Teen Dating Violence. Bring your questions and let’s learn more about how to spot and prevent teen dating violence!

AVRC Staff hopes you will join us for the awesome events we have planned! You can also check out our past TDVAM posts for more great content throughout the month.

Remember that you are not alone, and if you or someone you know is experiencing teen dating violence, AVRC staff is available 24/7 to support you!
